Back on the tram to Zollverein
You pass by the cemetery and the church on the left in the direction of travel, and the colourful house on the right.
Look out the window until you’ve passed these landmarks.
You’ve spent time in this place, you’ve hung around here and changed things through your existence. Stoppenberg is no longer foreign to you; now it’s part of our shared history. After your visit, nothing will be the same as it was before. Not for you and not for Stoppenberg.
For example, now a stone is missing from there forever. Reach your hand into wherever you’ve stored it. If you feel like it, take it out. We’re going down a hill towards PACT Zollverein. From here on, residential and old industrial buildings are more and more interspersed. Coming up: Nikolausstrasse, Kapitelwiese, Zollverein, EXIT: Abzweig Katernberg—get off here, please.
Depending on the dimension, also coming up are:
sheep, a car dealership, a gas station, glass bridges, hover cars...exactly what you see with your eyes now, with or without blinking...
Backyard garages, huge trees, world heritage sites. Residents and those just passing through. All these people are making new decisions every minute and all of these places are opening themselves up to new dimensions. No dimension is more real than the other. There is no main dimension. I let this thought course through my mind now, as I look out the window. I invite you to look out and wander along with me, to observe the different buildings and people. Instead of looking out of the window you could also write one of the postcards on pages 33, 35 and 37. You can now go there and then get back here again.
But don’t forget to get off at Abzweig Katernberg!
Then continue reading on page 65.
