Near and Far

Do you want to drift far away?
Then walk up the stairs, towards the building you recognize as the church.
When you arrive at the churchyard, go to the front of the church.
Are you standing at the right spot?
In front of the church? Good. Leading to the main entrance it has wide steps. With interdimensional travel, the side of the photo wallpaper you pick away at can sometimes make a difference. If you take a few steps to the right you’ll see a slightly smaller staircase. Climb this smaller set of stairs, located on the right, and find a comfortable spot on the walled veranda. If you meet other travellers, greet them briefly.
Now think of your accommodation for the night and flip to page 39.

Or are the good things closer than you thought?
Then walk left along the sidewalk by the wall. You will pass by a very colourful public litter bin and a stone bench. Walk over to the stone pavilion with the green roof and when you get there, stop.
Do you see the figures? They have been here since 1932. But our interdimensional journey begins at the back of the pavilion, which for us is actually the front. Climb the steps up to the back of the pavilion and stand in front of the stone inscription.
Now press the back of this book (and maybe your hand, for a moment) against the pavilion wall below the inscription, and then continue reading on page 42.
